Between the modern amenities of this house and the gorgeous beach, I felt like I'd entered into a romance novel or movie. Only it was real. This villa is a unique place. First, the kitchen is world-class; cable TV with English channels; music outlets; grill; pool; the BEDDING, my god, the bedding. Beach house decor can be kind of bland, predictable, bit this house has PIZZAZZ. The villa was a dream and a half. At night, I walked to the roof and watched the stars. You can see all of the Milky Way and I counted 7 shooting stars that night. The pool is a nice addition, but the beach is incomparable. The nearby cenote is also amazing! We heard about this villa from our friends who come here every year (for 3 years). Since we are world travelers, we were skeptical but decided to go ahead based on the rave reviews. We rented the house for 3 weeks - the first week with our large family of 8 (adults and teens) and then stayed 2 more weeks with just us (my husband and me. The staff of 3 are great - hard workers, attention to detail and very excellent cooks (they will cook dinner for you as much as you want for only the cost of the food and $9 per person). The house has the best beach and the most palm trees on of any houses on Tankah Tres (just a few minutes from Tulum and Akumal). The second largest reef in the world is just out in front of the house and the snorkeling is fabulous - pristine and untouched. The house is spacious and has free internet, free phone service and TVs, CD player, DVD player and even a karaoke machine. We had Maria and Bernardino cook for us several times with delightful results but we cooked a lot ourselves and always ate outside at the large table overlooking the prettiest beach anywhere. This Casa far exceded my expectations! It was like walking into a dream. Our group of 40’something had the most relaxing and fun time! We had everything we wanted or needed near by. And Bernardino and Maria were so great! Her cooking is AMAZING! We saw turtle hatchlings make their way to to the ocean. And what an ocean!!! There was minimal sea weed and the water is all shades of turquoise and blues. A little rocky but there’s a section with just soft sand about a 5 min walk. And near that is another cenote that is in the ocean! We also walked to a restaurant a few times that is about a seven minute walk. And there’s a Cenote right in front of it! Simply magical!!! We rented a car in Cancun airport and plugged in address in gps and used homeowner’s directions as well. Super easy to get there. We are already planning our return! Can’t wait to return!
